I have installed Fedora 6 (x86 version 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6), Emacs and A+.<br>I am using the first tutorial (Emacs and A+), and am having some trouble getting started.
<br><br>In terminal mode: <br>when I enter the command&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; /usr/local/bin/a+&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (as indicated in the documentation), I get an error message (no such file or directory).<br><br>The appropriate command appears to be &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; /usr/bin/a+
<br>The A+ system starts up identifying itself as version 
4.20, but I get an error message<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; /usr/lib/a+/idap.+:&nbsp;&nbsp; no such file or directory<br>The system appears to be looking for&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; /usr/lib64/a+/idap.+&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; which does exist, but the A+ system is not&nbsp; finding it.<br><br>
<br>There is no Emacs/A+ application to start up (as indicated in the documentation), <br>but I can start Emacs.
<br>When I do start an Emacs session and get into the *scratch* buffer,<br>the
documenation states that when I press F4, the Emacs window should split
into two buffers, with the bottom one being an A+ session.<br>When I press F4, nothing happens at all.
<br><br>What steps do you recommend?<br>
