Yes. No (I think GCC makes it depend on cygwin1.dll which I believe
has a Win32, but it's not stand-alone). No (except in Editor mode
only).

Here's my comment from personal notes:
A+ Takes about 4 hours to build on my system, a380: 1.7 GHz P4
w/ 512 MB RAM under Windows/Cygwin and about 30 minutes under
Linux. [built under Cygwin on 030405. gcc version 2.95.3-5
  (cygwin special)]

Someone suggested using the Xemacs GUI front-end, but I recall
using the AEdit Editor to edit, then A+ to execute the code.
I converted the AEdit from Pascal (Borland Delphi 5) to Microsoft
MFC, with a few changes, mostly, my version was weaker.

BTW, I just downloaded Redhat 9.0 because Sy Bensky inquired
about support, so I wanted to see what the issues were. John
Mizel response was that his has a problem with timers. I should
get a chance to attempt compilation tonight (PT=UT-08:00)
(I do my work on one PC which is currently running Windows98SE
and I have to reboot to run Linux RH 9.0. I currently do
office work under Windows and SW Dev under Linux, for the most
part)
