Welcome aboard Derek.  I've played around with A+ a little and think
that it would be an excellent starting point for an Open Source OLAP
engine.  I'd be interested in working on this, though I don't have time
at the moment.  It would be especially useful with hooks to integrate it
with things like Open Office.
