    I am clearly missing something.  My computer documentation claims that a
bootable CD should take over on rebooting, as long as the the BIOS settings
give the CD-ROM precedence over the hard drive; but in that case, why would
the Microsoft driver or OS be involved?  Are you saying this is to be booted
from within Windows or DOS?  More simply, just what steps do you take to get
started?

    Thanks.  (I think I'm usually able to follow instructions as simple as
this boot documentation.)
