A quick overview of the source code makes me believe that porting the core
would be quite straightforward (some of the files mention Visual C++...).
But the heavy dependence on raw X of the GUI makes the task of giving the
core a user interface not simply a matter of porting, but, more, a matter of
rewriting. Not a weekend project, as far as I can tell...
